Sometimes, life just gets so busy doesn’t it?

It is so important to remember to take (or really make) a little time for yourself. I’ve talked to so many Moms who get this “Mom guilt” thing any time they are doing something that doesn’t directly benefit the family. But when you care for yourself, you are teaching your kids a huge life lesson: taking time for yourself is part of being a happy, healthy, balanced person. If you don’t do it, they won’t either when they grow up. :)

Carve out just a half an hour a week if it is all you can find, put on some music you love, and just let your creativity come out! It is sooo good for you and everyone around you.

Ok now…on to the projects! This week, our fans are working on tons of awesome projects from organizing to getting ready for babies (your own or other people’s!) Knitting, tatting, crochet are also on a lot of your project lists. Some of you are also making gifts for Mom (Mother’s Day is May 13th!)

Check out this super-happy quilt made with love (and gorgeous fabric) from one of our first loyal fans, Vista Adams Knox. This wonderful wall hanging makes me smile – Love the cheerful colors!

I am crazy about a simple little black dress and a statement earring or necklace that pops — These lovely earrings by Silver Moon Designs would do the trick! Some feather accessories are just wired onto a jump ring, but not these -  Check out the finishing and attention to detail. They are well-made and truly “designed.”  Nicely Done!

And speaking of pretty jewelry, have you been seeing turquoise and coral beads all over the place lately? I have..and it is a modern classic for Summer. This bracelet posted by TYB Creations is just the subtle hint of it you can wear with your first sun dress of the season!
